Agricultural sulfur products are formulated for use as nutrients, soil amendments, and pesticides. They are generally finely divided, averaging 93% through a #325 US sieve and formulated into wettable powders or dusts, or homogenized into flowable products with an average particle size of 2.5 microns. Their main uses are as fungicides, insecticides, and miticides. Another common use is as a soil additive to correct alkalinity or sulfur deficiency.

YELLOW JACKET DUSTING SULFUR
Formulated at 98%, this product is primarily used as a fungicide. Yellow Jacket® Special Dusting Sulfur can be applied by ground or air. This product is registered by the EPA and is certified for organic use under the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP).

YELLOW JACKET FLOWABLE SULFUR
Dispersion or flowable type products are generally used on vine crops such as grapes, tomatoes, and peanuts. In use since the early 1970’s, this product is homogenized to a particle size of 2.5 microns and suspended in water using dispersants and thickeners. Benefits include ease of measurement, ease of spray application, and absence of irritating dust. The micronized particle size increases surface area, enhancing efficacy.

Formulated as a water based dispersion, six pounds of sulfur per gallon, Yellow Jacket® Flowable Sulfur is primarily used as a fungicide. This micronized product can also be used as a soil amendment if immediate pH correction is required. This product is registered by the EPA.

YELLOW JACKET WETTABLE SULFUR
Wettable powders are formulated by blending dispersants and surfactants together and then milling to a very fine particle size. They can be applied as a spray or dust. Dry milled sulfur has been used in pesticide applications for over one hundred years. Our Yellow Jacket® agricultural sulfurs promote environmental responsibility by organically ridding ornamentals, flowers, vegetable, fruit, nut, and field crops of fungus, molds, and mites. Several forms are available.

Formulated as Yellow Jacket® 90 Wettable Sulfur this product is used primarily as a fungicide or miticide. Wettable sulfur can be applied as a ground spray or aerial application. These products are registered by the EPA and certified for organic use under the United States Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) National Organic Program (NOP) as well as OMRI.
